Demolition (Day 3)

Today is Sunday, decided to take it easy. Like for many others in Brisbane, it’s a perfect day to go to the Ferny Grove Resource Recovery Centre (aka dump). I cut the long roofing sheets so they fit into the new trailer we just bought of Rob at Nambour (PS. thank you Aaron for lending me yours for a few months). Dumping steel is free as it is recycled. A whopping 620kg gone in just 2 trips, thanks BCC, we will be back soon with the wood from the walls and floor structure.

Just before the rain returned, I prepared four plywood sheets to cover up the hallway, apex and view room gaps to keep the rain out, a job for tomorrow. If time allows I will start pulling down some of the external wall frames.

This week I will (hopefully) meet with Shane Steele on-site to talk about RLs, excavations, levelling the floors and move/raise our new home.
