And this is it…!!! House Raising DONE (15/4/25)
We finally got there.. and now the rain has stopped… and that’s good!
Stash, Josh and Nicko finished off the house raising part (bar four posts which will be hung off the steel beams soon). All styes gone, all steel gone, all rubbish gone. Nicko worker super hard to get the back section welded off so we can start on the flooring tomorrow. Nicko is coming back tomorrow morning to finish welding the main house posts. Oh and thanks Josh and Stash for cutting that bit off 380 steel for me :-).
Beam nailing plates holes all drilled, LVLs being delivered (try again) first thing in the morning. Daz should also be back to help with lifting them onto the top section. Got James Castle helping and Brad and Sons starting as well. Hopefully we will get the sub floor down before Good Friday.
Aiden dropped in with some 400 blocks to wok out the steel position for Tamati for next week. Waterproofing delayed until the week after next, to wet still.
