House Raising Prep
Got an early call that there were machine breakdowns so no work will be done today,
On the positive side, our surveyor has set all surveying pins ready for setting up the extension stump grid and having true makers for where the house will end up.
Since not much was happening on site, I went to Tradetools and bought a laser level (Renegade Industrial Red Rotary Auto Laser Level – RIRL500-2), She’s a little beauty. I got a dome head tripod (Renegade Industrial Dome Head Tripod) and a staff which I returned as it broke after 15min of use. I didn’t get a replacement as I don’t need one for this site (see this post). I spent half the day refreshing my laser skills which were 20+ years old and were now ready to go.
Not having excavations done feels stressful as it is the core activity at the moment, hopefully that will start again soon.
