Legs Attached and Steel Partly Up (11/4/25)
What a day… OzBuild rocked up at 730 to deliver the LVLs and SructaFlor and nailing plates which was fantastic. At 745 Rocky from Steele rocks up… why… mmm to drop the house on the new legs and weld. Well that wasn’t going to work as we had 12 mtr long LVLs under the house … = … dramas. Shane rocks up and I decided to load the massive LVLs back onto the OzBuild truck (thanks Paul for your awesome help) and drop off the flooring and H27s only. Shane and crew got back at midday and we dropped the house onto the new legs, welded it and put up part of the extension steel. Finishing off on Monday which should be the last (final) day of the house raising, welding last steel, cutting the garage steel overhang and clean up all styes. Daz will come back on Tuesday lunch to cut the RW2 footings and shape the new ramp, hopefully get this done by the end of Wednesday. “The Plan” is the most organic part of the project, check it out here.
