Finally got some of the floors demolished, yes! Paid $92 for dumping. Also worked out that lodging the plumbing Form 1 saves $315 when doing it online as opposed to paper. (read more here). A friendly BCC employee at the Chermside office was very helpful. Loaded up the trailer with steel and started cleaning up the ground underneath the old floor. At the end of the day one of our friendly neighbours Joe dropped in for a chat. Finally I got time to go to the local pool with Finn for a swim, it was a nice day.
Tomorrow removing the hardwood floors and salvaging the pine floorboards to replace the existing boards in the hallway and View Room.
