Concreting
As strange as it may sound, we find this the most stressful part of the project. Having worked in the building industry for over 20 years (albeit no fulltime), concreting has been very challenging, why…?
- budgets have always blown out
- it has been difficult explaining what exact end result is expected
- its heavily dependent of the weather (somehow it always rains after piers have been dug)
But we have found a nice and experienced concretor called Tamati. Concreting work will start tomorrow 24/3/25 with the retaining walls footings Phase 1 as a taster.
…and it did, see Retaining Walls post for details.
