The Crane (30/4/25)
Sometimes getting in a helper is useful. We had a 7mtrs double-welded 300PFC as well as 20 300×45 LVLs at 12 metres to all go to the back of the house. Carrying these on top of the frames was not really an option so we got the experts in and glad we did, the best $1,400 spent.
In the morning we also got more timber delivered and Joey prepared the plumbing under the house slab which involved some serious excavations, all to be done by 1pm… we just made it.
The crane is coming bask 27/5 to lift the windows and trusses.
Oh, and my new Makita 40V drop saw of course :-).
